Connect Claude Code to EstatesBase
How to add EstatesBase to Claude Code in a terminal, sign in through your browser and choose what Claude Code may use.
Updated 17 October 2026
Checked with a live connection: Claude Code 2.1.299, 14 October 2026.
Before you start
- Your organisation has switched AI assistants on, and your administrator allows Claude Code.
- Claude Code is installed on your computer and you can run it in a terminal.
- You can open Connected apps: open the menu with your name at the top right of EstatesBase, choose My Profile, then Connected apps.
Your server address is:
https://<your organisation>.estatesbase.com/mcp
Add EstatesBase to Claude Code
The commands below are the ones known when this guide was written. If they have changed, add a remote MCP server that uses HTTP, with the address above.
- In a terminal, run
claude mcp add --transport http estatesbase https://<your organisation>.estatesbase.com/mcp - Start Claude Code.
- Type
/mcp, choose estatesbase and choose Authenticate. Claude Code opens your browser.
Sign in to EstatesBase
- Your browser opens the EstatesBase sign-in page for your organisation.
- Sign in as you always do: your password and two-factor code, or your organisation's single sign-on.
- Claude Code never sees your password.
Choose what Claude Code may use
The next page is headed Connect Claude Code. Because Claude Code runs on your own computer, the page also says:
This assistant runs on your own computer, so any program there could use this name. Only connect it if you started it yourself just now.
Only carry on if you started the sign-in yourself a moment ago. Then choose:
- What it may use. Each area of EstatesBase. Who you are and the sites you can see is always on.
- What it may do. Look things up is always ticked. Tick nothing more and the connection is read only. Tick a kind of change (everyday actions, changes to records, organisation settings, sensitive actions) to let Claude Code ask for it: every change is shown to you first, and some always go to your organisation for approval.
- Which sites. All the sites you can see, or Only these sites.
- How long. The number of days the connection lasts.
Choose Connect, then go back to the terminal. Claude Code should show EstatesBase as connected.
What to ask first
- "Who am I in EstatesBase?"
- "What's overdue at my sites?"
- "How many open requests are there?"
Open the link in each answer and check the figure against the page.
Ending the connection
Choose Disconnect beside Claude Code on Connected apps. You can also remove the server in Claude Code:
claude mcp remove estatesbase
