Disconnecting
How to end your assistant's access to EstatesBase, when to do it, and the other ways a connection ends.
Updated 17 October 2026
You can end your assistant's access to EstatesBase at any time, and it takes effect at once.
How to disconnect
- Open My Profile, then Connected apps.
- Find the assistant and choose Disconnect, then confirm.
The assistant can no longer reach EstatesBase for you. You can connect it again later if your organisation's policy still allows it.
When to disconnect
- You have finished the piece of work you connected it for.
- You think someone else may be using your assistant or your computer.
- The assistant did something you did not expect. Disconnect first, then tell your administrator.
- You are changing role or leaving.
Other ways a connection ends
- It reaches the end of the length you chose when you connected.
- Your administrator ends it, or switches AI assistants off for everyone.
- Your account is suspended.
When a connection ends, the assistant usually asks you to sign in again. Signing in again makes a new connection, and you choose what it may use once more.
Check your understanding
Your assistant made a change you did not expect. What should you do first?
- Leave it connected so your administrator can see what it does next
- Disconnect it on Connected apps, then tell your administrator
- Ask the assistant to undo its own change
Where do you disconnect your assistant?
- My Profile, then Connected apps
- In the assistant only: EstatesBase has no way to do it
- Only your administrator can disconnect it
